Bethany Gardner. Scribe Post. September 16, 2013

Agenda:

Algae Biofuel:

Firstly, Mr.Pro showed us a video and article about algae biofuel. He showed us about how it works and how it becomes oil. He also showed us good points and bad points about algae biofuel.

Good Point:

  • Renewable
  • It doesn't polite directly.
  • It removes carbon dioxide from the air.

Bad Point:

  • Expensive
  • If it is grown in water, it can kill plants.
If you would like to learn more about algae biofuel and what it does, click here. It shows you the video that he showed us.

Cited work.

After that, Mr. Pro explained to us why we have to cite our work. Citing work is very important because it gives credit to the author of the site.

Other reasons why:
  • It is illegal to use work, which is not yours and you do not cite it.
  • Gives the author credit, so that the people don't think it was yours, but you found the information.
  • If someone asks you to show the site you will have the link to give them.

Then he showed us how to make a work citied list.
